Taxpoynt Terms of Service (Draft – NDPR-aware)
Last updated: 11 Jul 2024
Scope: Taxpoynt SI, AP, and Hybrid services for e-invoicing.
1. Services and use
- Taxpoynt provides APIs and dashboards to ingest invoices, generate IRNs/QRs, validate with FIRS, and route artifacts. You may only use the services for lawful business purposes.
- You must maintain accurate organization details, keep credentials/keys secure, and follow published onboarding and operational runbooks.
2. Accounts, access, and security
- Access is role- and environment-scoped (sandbox/production). You are responsible for user provisioning and revocation within your organization.
- We enforce encryption in transit and at rest, redacted logging, and least-privilege access to credentials and crypto keysets.
3. Data ownership and processing
- You own your data. Taxpoynt processes it solely to deliver the contracted services and to meet regulatory requirements (e.g., FIRS).
- Personal and financial data are handled under NDPR-aligned practices; see the Privacy Policy and Data Processing terms.
4. Service levels and changes
- Uptime, support hours, and incident response targets are defined in your order form/SLA. We will communicate maintenance windows and breaking changes in advance.
5. Compliance and lawful use
- You must not submit unlawful content or violate FIRS or NDPR requirements. We may suspend access for abuse, security risk, or legal non-compliance.
6. Liability and disclaimers
- Services are provided “as is” during sandbox/testing. Production terms, limits, and remedies are governed by your executed agreement and SLA.
